Fast online loans: the application steps
By NovaCash · Updated September 22, 2026
From the application and IBV to the offer and payout, follow the NovaCash loan process and understand what to check before accepting the terms.

Applying from a phone skips a branch queue. It does not skip review. The FCAC still describes a contract to read: amount, rate, term, payments, fees. A useful path also shows total cost of borrowing before you sign.
Here is the process described on the NovaCash site. For the product, see the fast loan from $300 to $2,000. For timing, approval time. For the bank connection, IBV loans.
Published steps
- Complete the online application (about 5 minutes): identity, address, job, next pay date, amount.
- The file goes to FinX, the system of record. Accept its terms if asked.
- Connect the account through Flinks (IBV), with consent. No documents to upload to open the file. No password requested by email.
- An answer is targeted in 60 minutes for a complete file. That is not a clock guarantee.
- If an offer appears: read total cost of borrowing, dates, payout method. Accept or refuse.
- After acceptance: Interac e-Transfer or direct deposit. The FAQ says that in most cases money arrives as soon as the application is accepted.
If the IBV screen does not open, do not send a second form. Call (877) 431-4134.
What is not "simplified"
Eligibility remains: 18, $1,200 or more per month by direct deposit, Canadian citizenship, employed more than 3 months, not in bankruptcy, able to repay. Exclusions unchanged. IBV is not acceptance. A thin account, returned payments or excluded income lead to a refusal. There is no local branch.
Frequently asked questions
Is approval always this fast?
No. The 60-minute target is for a complete file. The offer stays conditional.
Do I send pay stubs?
The site says no documents are required thanks to IBV. Keep statements handy if a question comes up by phone.
Does the amount I ask for speed up the file?
No. $500 or $1,500 use the same connection.
