Fast online loans: real timelines, amounts, and steps

A fast online loan is for a short, dated expense that will not wait until the next deposit. NovaCash publishes loans from $300 to $2,000, an application that takes a few minutes, and payout by Interac e-Transfer or direct deposit after an accepted offer. This page explains timelines, amounts, eligibility, and steps. It does not replace the form. Every file is reviewed. A yes is never promised in advance.

NovaCash serves Quebec. The toll-free number (877) 431-4134 is published on the home page: a person answers. The fax is (877) 267-2773, email info@novacash.ca, and the mailing address is CP 51012 Lévis, Quebec, G6C 1R8. Those details do not replace the form. Use them if bank verification does not open, or if a process question comes up after submit.

The home calculator illustrates an open loan over six months, with weekly, every-two-weeks, or monthly payments. Nominal, periodic, and effective rates are shown by frequency. The estimate excludes monthly membership fees. None of that is your contract: the offer confirms the total cost of borrowing before you accept.

For a specific amount, see the $500 loan and $1,000 loan pages. To send a file, use the online application.

Published timelines

The times below come from the live home page and application copy. They describe a service target, not a clock guarantee on every file. When you apply, how complete the form is, and the bank verification all affect what happens next.

Amounts

Published amounts are $300, $400, $500, $750, $1,000, $1,250, $1,500, and $2,000. Borrow the smallest amount that covers the need. Every loan is an open loan: you can pay it off early without penalty.

Two amounts show up often in search. The cards below open a dedicated page.

Eligibility

NovaCash publishes straightforward criteria. Meeting them makes an application possible. It does not create an automatic offer.

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You earn $1,200 or more per month, paid by direct deposit.
  • You are a Canadian citizen.
  • You have held a job for more than 3 months.
  • You are not in a bankruptcy process.
  • You are able to repay the loan.

When you are not eligible

The live site also lists excluded income. If one of these describes you, do not apply hoping this page creates an exception.

  • You are self-employed.
  • Your income comes from child tax credits.
  • Your income comes from a retirement savings plan.
  • Your income comes from student loans.
  • Your income comes from any form of social assistance.

Application steps

The published path has four beats. First, you complete the online application: identity, address, job, next pay date, and amount. The file is then sent to FinX, the system of record used for assessment. After submit, you may be redirected to accept FinX terms and connect your account with instant bank verification.

If verification does not open, call (877) 431-4134 instead of sending a second form. When an offer appears, read the total cost of borrowing, payment dates, and payout method. Accept only if the schedule fits your budget.

Instant bank verification (IBV)

NovaCash describes a review without a credit-bureau enquiry, replaced by instant bank verification (IBV) with Flinks. You log in to your bank, give consent, and the lender reads the account activity needed for the review. You do not upload paper documents to open the file.

IBV is not an approval. It is a consented look at the account to judge repayment capacity. Security and consent details sit in the IBV article.

Cost and repayment

Every loan is an open loan: pay it off early without penalty. Payments can be weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. The home page calculator shows a six-month illustration, with nominal, periodic, and effective rates by frequency. That estimate excludes monthly membership fees. Exact rate, fees, and total cost of borrowing are confirmed in the offer, before you accept.

Do not treat a public illustration as your contract. Line the payment date up with payday, then the last payment with your fixed bills. If the offer does not fit, decline it.

Fast loan versus a line of credit or card

A line of credit or a credit card can cost less if you already have unused limit and can spread the balance. A fast online loan is for when those tools are missing, maxed out, or when the need is short and dated. NovaCash's published difference is a minutes-long application, IBV instead of paperwork, and Interac or direct deposit after acceptance.

The drawback is the same as any short-term credit: if the payment lands on top of rent, groceries, or another debt, the loan makes next month harder. A fast loan does not fix a structural shortfall. It moves an expense in time, with interest and fees confirmed in the contract.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I apply for?

Published amounts run from $300 to $2,000. See also the $500 loan and $1,000 loan. Any offer may be lower than the amount you asked for.

How fast is the answer?

The form targets an answer in 60 minutes after a complete submit. That is not a clock guarantee on every file.

Is there a credit check?

No. NovaCash does not run a credit-bureau enquiry. Review uses instant bank verification (IBV) with Flinks. You must not be in a bankruptcy process.

Do child tax benefits count as income?

No. Income from child tax credits is not qualifying income. If that is your only source, do not apply to NovaCash on that basis.

How is the money paid out?

After you accept an offer, by Interac e-Transfer or direct deposit, as confirmed. Banks listed on the home page include BMO, TD, Desjardins, RBC, and Scotiabank.

What if I am not eligible?

Do not send a second form. Re-read the criteria, or call (877) 431-4134 with a process question. A person answers the phone.
